Information Technology Security and Information Assurance

 

We play a primary leadership and support role establishing, implementing, operating, and overseeing large-scale IT security and IA programs at major Federal organizations. Key activities include policy development, security assessment and authorization, security operations, training, security engineering, security system testing and evaluation, independent auditing, and Public Key Infrastructure. Our staff are recognized for their independent security assessment expertise.


Strategy Development

 

We support senior managers with developing long-term strategies to ensure the business interests of organizations are met by its IT investments.


Governance

 

We apply a wealth of institutional knowledge in Federal Government Statutes, Standards, Policy, and Guidance and apply our expertise to establish IT Governance Programs.


Compliance and Oversight

 

We establish teams of subject matter experts to support oversight of key program areas to ensure Governance elements are in-place, effective, and routinely tested to verify their adequate implementation and utility within the Enterprise.


Program Management and Integration

 

We organize senior management programs; developing budget forecasts and execution plans; developing, maintaining, and monitoring program management plans; developing high-level communications plans; and monitoring program performance using Earned Value Management metrics and tools.


Policy Analysis and Development

 

We have developed a Policy Management Framework for managing the policy lifecycle. Specifically, we identify emerging needs, requirements, and drivers affecting policy: update/define policy; develop supporting guidance and handbooks; implement information sharing and awareness activities to socialize policy requirements; and implement oversight functions to ensure policy compliance and its effectiveness implementation.
